Welcome aboard The USWPJOC is a Pilot coed program for Boys
& Girls between the age of 11 - 17 years old.
The USWPJOC is open to all Boys & Girls who are 10 to 17 years old and would
like to be educated in maritime matters, The USWPJOC provides members
in the program with opportunities to experience activities, challenges and adventures that normally one can only dream
about. This page is a overview of a few of the activities made available to all members of the USWPJOC program.
It is the mission of the Junior Officer Corps to be committed to providing youth with
a drug and alcohol free environment as well to develop their leadership abilities, broaden their skills through hands-on
training and guide them to becoming mature adults.

USWPJOC members serve and train with active and reserve members of the U.S. Water Patrol. Activities and skill development most JOC members participate in:
Our programs will include
River cruising, Sailing, Small boat handling, Scuba Diving, Boat Navigation, Overnight Camping & Boat trips, and
much more!
1. JOC members go on actual boat patrols 2. Learn Leadership Skills 3. Learn Safe Boating Skills 4.
Learn Navigation Skills
5. Basic and advance boat operation 6.
Learn basic radio and communications skills 7. Develop understanding and skills in Search
& Rescue, Safety Patrols, Lifesaving Skills. 8. Develop basic understanding in maritime rules and regulations. 9. Basic First Aid
Leadership: Gain important skills and experience
by holding an officer position. The USWPJOC is a youth ran program! You Help call the shots in this important program.
Advancement: Reaching your potential through the JOC advancement program.
While you learn you gain rank. Also Make life-long friends.
HORSES: ( New Equine Program)
If you like Horses, JOC Members can
gain experience and skills with horses as well as in marine. The USWP has a Mounted Patrol Team that conducts
Homeland Security Support and Public Safety patrols year round. JOC members may have the opportunity to work and train with
the Mounted Patrol Team.
