09-11-2011 USWP makes it's 100th Mounted Patrol On
09-11-2011: The Louisville KY Station's Mounted Patrol Team makes it's 100th Mpunted patrol today after starting
a year ago. The patrol lasted 7 hours and covered an area of about 11 miles. The patrol was done by 1 active, 1 Resurve and

Service Awards In just 2 years the U.S Water Patrol members have as of this Date loged in 99.326.99 hours with

08/03/2011 River View Station gets Patrol / Rescue Boat Louisville KY. River view Station in Southwest Louisville has a new Patrol / Rescue boat. The boat was donated to
the U.S. Water Patrol by the estate of Mr. Thomas Geraty. The 1974 Chris Craft Express Cruiser will be used on the Ohio
River as a long range patrol / rescue boat conducting river patrols from Louisville KY to Evansville, IN. and back. The
boat will also be used as a Sea Scout Ship and training. The boat will be equipped with Radar / sonar as well as
other electronics including night vision equipment, Elect navigation. The boat will also carry emergency & Rescue equipment. At this time the boat is undergoing a refitting and upgrading and is planed to be in operation on or around 08/28/2011 The
boat will be christened as PBR-73 Call sign CINDY-B the future Home port will be West Point, KY. Report Submitted
