The United States Water
Patrol is a 100% All volunteer organization, No one receives pay for any services or time used by it's members.
Also the U.S. Water Patrol does not receive any Funding or Grants from any Federal, State or Local Government's.
Gas, Equipment, Supply's and repairs are paid with donations from our members and You the Public.
The United States Water is currently celebrating 10 years of providing
Homeland Security Support / Public Safety and a number of services free, to the to the public both on water and
land nation wide. We have a lot to be grateful for and many people to thank for how successful we've been! The U.S.
Water Patrol is assisting hundreds of people every month, which might even make it more widespread than some of
the biggest public service providers. And, proving that we really make a difference, our popularity has allowed us to collaborate
with countless talented individuals who have helped us keep the U.S. water Patrol safe and free.
But fame
has its price. The U.S. Water Patrol has always been run by a small group of volunteers, and we've never been paid
for our efforts. We do it because this is our passion; we do it for the love and the fun. But running high-profile projects
means that there is a plethora of work from which no one gets much fun (or love). That's taken its toll -- our number
of responses have increased and our visionary initiatives for our providing better Security patrols & Public
Safety have had to take a back seat to ongoing maintenance, such as boat maintenance to Safety equipment replacement, more
public safety responses, Gas, and a slew of other responsibilities. Oh, and then there's paying the bills,
So it's time to ask our community for help. In the best scenario, The U.S.W.P. should be able to
support one or two full time patrol teams, To some, this may seem overly ambitious, but we don't think so. Think
of the good money that has been raised by projects that can be considered far less mission-critical than Homeland Security
& Public Safety. We don't think any other projects are less deserving than the USWP; only that the USWP is
quite worthy of your support, especially after 10 years of doing it all gratis. With support on a significant scale, the project
will regain momentum, that "we can become more affective in assistance to the public and help protect our waterways.
We'd like to have you show your support by simply donating whatever you feel you can afford. Currently, you can
choose to donate to any of us individually (if you have stipulations about how the money should be used/shared, let us know
and we will be very happy to oblige). We are also trying out a primitive bounty system, in case you want to target your money
for a specific feature or improvement. If you need a US tax exemption for your donation, please contact us
directly.
All US Water Patrol service
& assistance is free thanks to the generosity of people like you. Contributions to the United States Water Patrol, a tax-exempt
organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes

We accept donations of cash, supplies, or equipment related to our mission. We also accept donated boats.
Our needs cover a very wide range of goods and services for operation and maintenance of our boats and facilities, also supplies
for cruising such as food, fuel, safety supplies, and training supplies. We sometimes trade goods with business
in the area for items we need more, so if you don't think we can use it we may be able to trade with other Organizations
who do have a need for it. If you think you may have some item or services we could use, or would
like to make a cash donation, please contact our Resource Officer: CPT Kia Black at support@uswaterpatrol.us or by phone at 502-592-9332 Thank you for your support
